‘Surrey Sloths’ raise over £10,000 for Challengers!

After four pandemic postponements the Leader of Guildford Borough Council, Councillor Joss Bigmore and five friends, Tom Hufton, Nick Thomson, John Jopp, Steve Allen and Ken Stannard finally made it to the Alps, completing 700km of cycling, and climbing the equivalent of Everest twice in just 6 days.

Spinnaker Tower Abseil 2022

We had a fantastic day at our Spinnaker Tower Abseil on Saturday 24th September 2022! We were so proud of our incredible team of 34 epic abseilers. The Spinnaker Tower stands at a mighty 100m, and it was so inspiring to watch them take on this amazing challenge for Challengers.

Our amazing 2022 London Marathon team!

We had an amazing time at Mile 21 supporting our fantastic team of 13 London Marathon runners on Sunday 2nd October! All of our runners did us extremely proud, taking on the iconic 26.2 miles through the famous streets of our capital, and raising an incredible sum for Challengers.

Flo’s Story – Living with a disabled sibling

Flo’s brother Adam previously attended Challengers, where he enjoyed many years of inclusive fun and play – benefitting both him and his family. Drawing on her own experience of growing up with a disabled sibling, Flo has written and produced a play called ‘Aaron’ which offers an honest, moving and stripped-back portrayal of life with a disability.
