The Big Give Christmas Challenge 2024 is now live! From 12pm 3rd December to 12pm 10th December, every donation made through our Big Give page will be DOUBLED – pound for pound.
This year we we’re aiming to raise £45,000, which will be doubled to £90,000 through the Big Give! For Challengers families this funding could provide 300 days of invaluable respite – and peace of mind, knowing their child is safe, supported, and having fun.
Why Your Support Matters
Toby, 10, has autism, ADHD, a learning disability, and chromosome disorders which mean he has very complex needs. He has been coming to Challengers since he was just 3 years old. In this video, Toby’s Mum Natasha shares how vital Challengers has been – not only for Toby, but for the entire family.
By doubling your donation, you’re helping to address a critical issue: 7 in 10 parents feel their disabled children’s wellbeing has deteriorated – and that many children are more anxious – due to a lack of available support (Disabled Children’s Partnership, Failed and Forgotten Report 2023). We currently have capacity to help 750 disabled children and young people each year, but there are 456 families on our waiting list asking us to help them.

What Double Donations Could Do
- £17.50 becomes £35: Funds an hour of care, ensuring every child feels safe, supported, and free to play.
- £37.50 becomes £75: Trains staff to safely administer medication, guaranteeing essential support for children at Challengers.
- £75 becomes £150: Covers our nurse’s weekend salary, enabling us to welcome ALL disabled children no matter the complexity of their additional needs.
