  • Office based roles

    FUNDRAISING RESEARCH OFFICER | GUILDFORD | £17,509 | 35 Hours/week (Monday – Friday) – temporary contract with potential to be made permanent

    Challengers is looking for someone to join our passionate Fundraising Team! As the Fundraising Research Officer, you will be responsible for carrying out research on companies, community groups and grant-making organisations to raise the profile of Challengers and maximise funding.

    You will be working collaboratively within a dynamic team to prepare high quality written briefings and to help generate new relationships with potential supporters. The chosen candidate will have strong research skills, a tenacious desire to find relevant information, excellent organisational skills and clear analytical thinking.

    Other desirable skills include prior experience of fundraising in either a paid or voluntary capacity, a good competence of Microsoft office and databases, and a good understanding of the issues facing disabled children and young people today.

    This role will give a unique opportunity to gain experience within multiple fundraising areas in a lively and professional environment.

  • Scheme based Play and Youth Worker roles

    PLAY & YOUTH WORKERS | ACROSS ALL SCHEMES | Flexible working hours

    We are looking for energetic and enthusiastic play workers to join our exciting and busy play and youth schemes. Our schemes provide fun play, leisure and sport activities for disabled children and young people with a wide range of impairments. Your role as a play worker will be to assist in the delivery of these schemes! If you enjoy working in a busy and sociable environment then this could be the perfect job for you.

    Under 18 years old: £4.89 per hour
    18 – 20 years old: £6.71 per hour
    21 years old or over: £7.50 per hour

    SENIOR WORKER | CATERHAM YOUTHSCHEME | £8.21
    | Saturdays and Holidays

    Challengers is looking for a well-trained and knowledgeable senior worker to join the enthusiastic Caterham team! The successful applicant would be focusing on behavior management, so should have some suitable advanced training in MAPA and First Aid.

    This role would focus on the Caterham Saturday scheme but would also require occasional travel to other schemes.
