Challengers are very excited to be recruiting an awesome team for Parallel Windsor on Sunday 5th July 2026! Parallel Windsor is an event with a difference, being a fully inclusive and accessible set of Challenge Events all designed with disabled people at the heart and centre of this exciting day.
There are no cut off times, and each event can be taken part as a walk, run or push! We love the slogan for the day – ‘start together, finish whenever!’
By taking this event on for Challengers you’re transforming the lives of disabled young people and their families!
If you would like to join Team Orange at Parallel Windsor you can take part in any of the following events:
- 100 metres
- Super Sensory 1km or 1km
- 5km
- 10km
The shorter distances start & finish on the historic Long Walk, with two stunning routes in The Great Park for the 5k and 10k; all finishing against the backdrop of Windsor Castle.
Every participant will also receive a t-shirt, medal and goody bag – as well as entry to the ‘Festival of Inclusivity’. The Festival is the HQ for the day and includes fully inclusive fun for all the family, lots of stalls (including Challengers), food, and live music!
The event is proud to be fully accessible with on-site parking, on-site mobility aids for hire, accessible toilets (including 3 Mobiloos), medical support, quiet spaces, and all support/assistance animals are welcome.

We would love you to take part as part of Team Orange. We ask every participant to raise a minimum of £100 for Challengers and pay a £20 registration fee to reserve your space.
