Challengers would like to invite you to our inclusive carol concert at St Andrew’s Church in Farnham, where we’ll come together to enjoy some festive celebrations. The famous Rock Choir will be performing once again, alongside a few other surprises and special performances.
There will be mince pies, mulled wine, and of course, all your favourite Christmas songs for you to listen to and join in with!
Everyone is welcome at our Carol Concert, and we aim to make the event an inclusive and enjoyable experience for all our families. St Andrew’s Church is wheelchair accessible and offers families the use of a creche should they need a break. Our Carol Concert booklet also features Makaton and PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System) to support those with learning disabilities and communication differences to understand and enjoy the event.
There is no expectation for children and young people to sit quietly throughout the concert, and everyone is welcome to express themselves in their own way. We love seeing children and young people dancing in the aisles, joining in with the songs and enjoying the festive atmosphere!

The Challengers carol concert really is a very special event to which everyone is able to come and enjoy the time in whichever way works for them. My daughter loves getting up and dancing right in front of the musicians which is more than welcomed – it really is such an inclusive experience. I wouldn’t take my daughter to a mainstream carol event as her behaviour is unpredictable and she can be noisy, but this event really is for all Challengers young people and families and anything goes! I would really encourage anyone to come along – we had such a fun time last year!

Timings
4.30pm – Doors open, buy a mince pie and mulled wine
5pm – Carol concert begins
7pm – Carol concert closes, an opportunity to buy some of our Christmas cards and gifts
Tickets cost £7.50 per adult or 2 for £12 and £5 per child or 2 for £8 (U16). All proceeds go to Challengers, these donations make it possible for us to provide disabled children with access to inclusive play and leisure.
The church is an accessible building with a disabled toilet and a creche. The closest car park is Waggon Yard Car Park, GU9 7PS which is a five-minute walk to the venue.
