On Sunday 4th December 2022, we had the return of Kelly’s Santa Run & Christmas Market! We are very lucky that Kelly’s Storage Charity Events cover all the costs of this brilliant day, meaning every penny went to Challengers. A big thank you Kelly’s for their continued generosity!
We brought some festive fun to Stoke Park with a 2.5k, 5k and cani cross 5k winter fun run. Each entrant received a Santa hat, and a decoration for their tree when they completed the challenge. With over 300 Santa and Elf runners, we can’t forget the adorable dogs accompanying them. Many of our amazing runners brought along friends and family to cheer them on and enjoy this fun-filled day.
New for 2022 was our Christmas Market, where our supporters and runners could purchase festive food and drink, gifts and even meet Santa in his grotto! At our Challengers stall we held lots of fun activities from teddy tombola, raffle, alcohol tombola and hook a duck! Lots of you were kind enough to support Challengers by purchasing our Christmas cards and Challengers merchandise. Thank you to all 20 of our independent stall holders, volunteers, marshals and cheer squad for making the day feel fabulously festive, we couldn’t have done it without you!
We are delighted to say that all the proceeds from this event were DOUBLED by The Big Give, so every entry/donation made either on the Kelly’s Storage Charity Events website before the event or on the day was worth double. With every penny going to Challengers, the entire event raised an incredible £15,466! We are very grateful to Kelly’s Storage Charity Events for enabling this to happen by covering all of the costs of this event. From everyone here at Challengers we would like to say a big thank you to all that attended, from the runners to supporters who just came to visit our wonderful stalls!
