  • Deputy Leader - Chichester & Havant Youth
    Deputy Leader - Chichester & Havant Youth: Fixed Term, £11.90 per hour Part-time (Saturdays and Holidays)

    Challengers is searching for an engaging and passionate Leader to join our hester & Havant Youth Scheme. Supported by our dedicated team of Operation Managers, you will plan and deliver a range of exciting and engaging activities to a group of inspiring young people (aged 8-18).

    Children and young people at Challengers should feel welcome, safe and that they ‘belong’. The Leader will support a staff team to provide a supportive environment where children feel confident, happy and able to challenge their limits, and is responsible for researching and inspiring fun and creative activities that excite and ‘wow’ children.

    It is the Leader’s responsibility to provide and maintain a physical environment that is cared for, respected and valued by children, staff and visitors. An efficient and well cared for environment will allow staff to deliver effective play and youth work.
    The Leader has an important role in supporting a team of staff who are often young themselves. The Leader is responsible for the day-to-day supervision and oversight of staff at Challengers.

    This is a perfect opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy and sociable environment and is dedicated to improving the lives of children, young people and their families.

    Please note that this is a fixed-term role, ending 31st October 2022.

    Deputy Leader - Guildford Youth: Part Time, £11.90 per hour Part-time (10 hours per week term time, 35 hours per week in holidays)

    Challengers is searching for an engaging and passionate Deputy Youth Leader to join our Guildford Youth Scheme. Supported by our dedicated team of Operation Managers, you will plan and deliver a range of exciting and engaging activities to a group of inspiring young people (aged 13-18).

    This is a perfect opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy and sociable environment and is dedicated to improving the lives of children, young people and their families.
