We’re thrilled to share that Gail Bedding, Challengers Parent Ambassador and former trustee, has been recognised in the New Year Honours List for her outstanding contribution to community.
Awarded the British Empire Medal (BEM), this prestigious recognition acknowledges the hard work and dedication of individuals who contribute positively to society, often in voluntary roles, celebrating everyday heroes.
Gail has dedicated a significant amount of her time over the years to supporting Challengers. Time that has involved being interim Chair; an active trustee; a Parent Ambassador, taking on roles supporting other parents newer in their journey; actively promoting Challengers at events; taking on speaking opportunities; and delivering Healthy Parent Carer workshops – a long list always delivered with her endless enthusiasm, brilliant sense of humour and a smile on her face.
