Wow – what a day we had at the London Marathon 2024!
We were delighted to cheer on our awesome team of 14 who all smashed the iconic London Marathon on behalf of Challengers on Sunday 21st April! We were joined by friends and family throughout the day to help us cheer on members of #TeamOrange at our VERY Orange corner, complete with Orange bucket hats and pumping music!
We were in total awe of all our runners, not just for running 26.2 miles, but for all their hard work over the past six months with their endless training and amazing fundraising.
To our incredible 2024 team, thank you so much for everything! It was an absolute pleasure to have you all as part of Team Orange – we feel so grateful for your incredible dedication and support and we are thrilled to announce the team raised a whopping £35,420.51 for Challengers which is an incredible contribution to our work – and to everyone that supported our runners, a BIG thank you to you too!
There is no other event quite like the London Marathon – it is the biggest one-day fundraising event in the world. Watching the 40,000 runners take on this amazing challenge in aid of their respective charities is a real honour and at times quite emotional.
