Challengers Carol Concert 2024!

Written by Emily Tomkins

On Friday 29th November, we brought the festive tunes to St Andrews Church in Farnham as we hosted Challengers’ inclusive relaxed Carol Concert.

We were joined by the famous Rock Choir as they sung Christmas classics with beautiful harmonies and soloists bringing smiles to the audience’s faces. We even had a special performance from our very own Head of Service, Paul Wilson who’s lovely singing and guitar playing had young people up and dancing.

During the interval, everyone had the opportunity to enjoy a mince pie and mulled wine or mulled apple juice while playing in our teddy tombola and chancing their luck on any last-minute raffle tickets before the draw at the start of the second act.

Thanks to the enthusiasm and support from all who attended, we raised an incredible total of £1292.71 which shows just how generous the Challengers community is.

We’d like to extend a special thank you to Reverend David at St Andrews for not only hosting us but for opening and closing the concert, Paul for his beautiful set, the Rock Choir, conducted by Tom, for blowing us away as they always do and to all our volunteers who helped on the night.

And thank you to you, for helping make this year’s Carol Concert a festive and beautiful evening for everyone.
