Welcome

Challengers is a charity which transforms the lives of disabled children,
young people and their families through the power of play.

Social isolation is an epidemic among the UK’s disabled children and their families. While their non-disabled peers have a choice of clubs, hobbies and playdates, many disabled children only have home and school. This lack of social interaction and opportunities means they are missing out on important life experiences, and is having a detrimental to their mental health, and the wellbeing of their families.

At Challengers, we reduce social isolation for by providing inclusive, fun, and safe spaces across the South East where disabled children aged 2 – 18 can come together to make friends, enjoy new experiences, and learn valuable life skills. Our unique non-exclusion policy means we’ll never exclude a child based on financial situation or the complexity of their needs, even if they are multiple and complex, which means everyone can be included.
