Who can go?

Children age 2 – 5 years will be able to attend the scheme. Free Early Education for Two years olds (FEET) is available for eligible 2 year olds, and parents of children aged 3 years and above will be able to use their FEE funding.

What happens at Farnham Pre-school?

Our activities in Farnham include puzzles, painting and gluing, sand and water play, soft play, sensory and outdoor fun, cooking and much, much, more – all developed in line with the national Early Years Foundation Stage. We also have a well-equipped sensory suite, soft play, and extensive secure outside play area and play structures.

In addition to our continuous provision, we plan enhanced activities on a weekly basis considering children’s individual needs and focusing on their next step learning and development goals.

Further information about funding

Free Early Education for 2 year olds (FEET) is an offer of up to 15 hours of free early education and childcare a week. To be eligible to apply for FEET your family must meet either the automatically funded, financial or other criteria. If your child does not meet any of these they may still be eligible for funding if a professional involved with your family considers them to have a significant need.

In England all 3 and 4 year olds are entitled to up to 15 hours of free early education a week for up to 38 weeks a year. This is to give children the opportunity to take part in planned learning activities, and help prepare them for school through the early learning goals set out in the Early Years Foundation Stage. There is more information on the Surrey County Council website.
