TRUST FUNDRAISING OFFICER | GUILDFORD HQ | £18,500 | 35 hours p/w
Challengers has grown substantially in recent years to become a regional charity and now needs a dynamic and passionate Trust Fundraiser to continue securing funding from Trusts, Foundations and grant giving bodies.
This is a role that allows creativity and empathy for a cause to flourish. You will maintain and safeguard existing relationships with Trusts and Foundations as well as forging new and productive connections through effective and creative written and verbal communications! You will also create and submit bids to secure income from Trusts, Foundations and grant funding bodies to support Challengers projects.
OPERATIONS OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR | GUILDFORD HQ | £17,509 | 35 hours p/w
We are searching for an Operations Office Assistant to work at the heart of Challengers! You will join our Operations Office Team playing a vital role in supporting all of our families, from guiding them through the registration process to taking their all-important bookings! The role is key to the smooth running of the Challengers Operations Office Team – the back bone of Operations – assisting in the organisation of payroll, incoming administrative paperwork, database/contact management and enquires from our play, youth and young adult schemes across Surrey, Hampshire, Reading and West Sussex.

EVENTS & COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER | GUILDFORD HQ | £17,250-£18,000 | 35 hours p/w
This role consists of two engaging elements. One side will see you coordinating and managing the day to day upkeep of our four social media channels. Creating promotional material will become a key part of your role and with full training in Photoshop and InDesign this is a perfect opportunity to learn, be creative. You will assist the Events and Communications team in making inspiring promotional literature in the form of posters, flyers, graphics, and film to ultimately, increase awareness and engage supporters in an inspiring, progressive and proactive regional children’s charity.
The second component offers you the opportunity to contribute to the planning and organisation of a range of exciting events from classic car drives & black tie to sporting events like cycling, running and golf days!

FINANCE OFFICER (FAMILY SUPPORT) | GUILDFORD HQ | £18,500 (pro rata) | 20 hours p/w over 3 days (Part-Time)
We are on the search for a Finance Officer that will specifically focus on the sales ledger and credit control function of the department. Your role as Finance Family Support Officer will see you have regular contact with our families to ensure that invoices are paid and payment concerns are addressed with an awareness and empathy to wider issues affecting payment defaults. You will offer invaluable personable support and guidance through payment, payment plans and credit management.

We are looking for energetic and enthusiastic play workers to join our exciting and busy play and youth schemes. Our schemes provide fun play, leisure and sport activities for disabled children and young people with a wide range of impairments. Your role as a play worker will be to assist in the delivery of these schemes! If you enjoy working in a busy and sociable environment then this could be the perfect job for you.
Under 18 years old: £4.89 per hour
18 – 20 years old: £6.71 per hour
21 years old or over: £7.50 per hour
