Information about Swim Club
What is Challengers Swim Club?
Challengers Swim Club provides swimming lessons for disabled children aged 6-16 and is led by experienced teachers who hold ASA Level 2 teaching qualifications. Our swimming lessons are delivered through a partnership with inclusive Swimming Academy, Great Waves. Children and young people will be grouped by their confidence and lessons are designed for all to have fun and learn new skills. Parents of children in the beginner groups are expected to accompany their children in the water. Parent/carers are responsible for their children during lesson time – however, there are Challengers staff on hand to provide assistance.
