What's going on
Take part in Orange Day 2019 to break down the barriers to play!
For our 40th Birthday we want our annual Orange Day to be even bigger and better than ever! We want you to get your friends, family and colleagues together and join us on Thursday 24th October and go Orange for Challengers!
Challengers HQ will be celebrating Orange Day with orange outfits, an orange bake sale and even an orange quiz. Could your school or workplace join in to help break down the barriers to play for local disabled children and young people?
Taking part in Orange Day is a great way to:
- Raise vital funds for Challengers inclusive play schemes
- Spread awareness about Challengers and the importance of inclusive play
- Celebrate what Challengers means to you
“The colour orange will always be special to me. The young people feel safe when they are greeted by a sea of orange, it’s amazing that a colour can do that.”
– Sophie Hansen-Reading, Project Manager
“Wearing my orange t-shirt is almost like wearing a superheroes cape. I feel ready to do whatever it takes to make a difference to the lives of Challengers’ young people and their families”
– Alex Hubbard, Office Manager
If you need some help persuading your teachers or your boss to join #TeamOrange, we have made a special postcard (PDF) for you to print off, fill in and give to them.
