Winter Wonderwheels 2022 powered by Marvel

Sunday 4th December 2022

Calling all Superheroes!

The Superhero Series is the UK’s one and only disability sport series where the ethos is ‘anything goes’.

The Winter Wonderwheels is an amazing opportunity to have fun, take on a challenge and support Challengers at the same time!

You can fly solo like Superman or team up like the Avengers to walk, wheel, run & anything in between around three scenic lakeside distances (1K, 5K, 10K), plus there’ll be (fake) snow, SUPER celebs, music, food & more. All we ask is that all solo entrants and at least one member of each team considers themselves to have any kind of disability to enter.

Who can join Challengers for the mission?

If you, or one of your teammates consider themselves to have a disability of any kind, you’re welcome to join the mission to have fun. This could mean you are flying solo by being your own hero or unite with your friends and family to get the mission complete.

The event is completely inclusive, so no matter what your child’s needs this event is perfect for you!

Where: Dorney Lake, Eton College Rowing Centre, off Court Lane, Dorney, Windsor, Berkshire, SL4 6FG

When: Sunday 4th December 2022

Dress code: No Superhero is complete without a Superhero outfit… of course!

How: This mission can be completed however you would like to. You can skate, skip, bounce!

The Superhero Series was created by and for disabled people, so anything is possible at this completely inclusive event! Families that have taken part before having had the best time, as anyone and everyone can join in. There are no cut-off times, and all types of gadgets & gismos are welcome on the course, from day chairs, handcycles, trikes and tandems, race runners and bikes.

If you are interested in taking part in the mission or want to find out a bit more, please contact Helena, at helenaburke@disability-challengers.org or call  01483 230060.
