Challengers Motoring Event 2023

Sunday 23rd July 2023

Back by popular demand, Challengers are delighted to host our 9th annual Motoring Event! A wonderful day for all car enthusiasts, whether you have your own unique motor or simply wish to come along to experience a very special private collection – we would love to see you there.

We have two ticket options for this fantastic day:

Drive & Museum Tickets

For those who own a vintage, classic, specialist, super or electric car, we welcome you to join us on Sunday 23rd July 2023 to drive a bespoke route through the beautiful Surrey and Hampshire countryside.

This year, we are delighted to announce we are starting our day at Chicane (RG27 0RH), where guests participating in the drive will have the pleasure of touring the workshop and facilities.

About Chicane

“Chicane is an Aston Martin Specialist based in the Hampshire countryside – we pride ourselves on our thorough knowledge of the Aston Martin marque, specialising from the iconic DB2 right through to the modern era.

We are award-winning restoration specialists, and our owner has 20 years’ experience in engine building. We also offer servicing and upgrades for all Aston Martin models. Please visit our website for more information on the various services we can offer

We are really grateful for Chicane’s support, and very excited to be starting our drive at such an amazing venue!

Starting at the wonderful workshop at Chicane, you will then navigate our bespoke route through the gorgeous countryside using our printed guide, with refreshment stops identified. You are then invited to an exclusive viewing of a very special, private motor museum (details below). This ticket is £70 per car, including driver and a passenger – with all funds of course going to Challengers!

Museum Tickets

No car? No problem! At the end of the driving route, everyone will gather at an exclusive private motor museum that houses some of the world’s most iconic cars. This is an experience not to be missed and, for those not joining the drive, tickets can be bought separately.

This stunning collection has over 50 vehicles and endless motoring memorabilia including a Lagonda V12 Le Mans, which is one of only two that competed at the 1939 Le Mans 24 Hours, and a Mercedes 300 SL which was featured in Classic Motor & Sports Car magazine.

While at the museum, there will be the opportunity to browse the collection and hear from the generous owners of the museum. Many of these cars are still raced at major International Historic races such as Goodwood and Le Mans.  You have a chance to delve into this fabulous collection for just £25 per person.

As with previous years, we encourage guests to bring their own picnic to enjoy at the museum. We are looking at further food options for this year, and will be updating this page shortly with these.

For any queries, please contact Becky on or 01483 230 060. The event promises to be a wonderful day of soaking up amazing motoring history and culture, surrounded by fellow car lovers – we look forward to seeing you there!
