Caroline Breckell joins as a Challengers Patron

Challengers are delighted to announce long-standing supporter and Team Orange family member, Caroline Breckell, as a patron of the charity.

Caroline has been a supporter of Challengers for many years and has given incredible opportunities to the charity, so we are thrilled to welcome her to the Orange family as a patron.

Over the past 5 years Caroline Breckell DL has been extraordinarily supportive of the charity, helping to support fundraising events such as the dinner with Damon Hill and John Surtees, by introducing John to the charity.

She has worked in her ‘day job’ with the Chairman of SCC to encourage support from the county and this year we have an event sponsored by them at Losely to celebrate inclusion.

She was responsible for the royal visit at Farnham with Countess of Wessex and most recently she was able to organise a Royal visit from Princess Beatrice to help celebrate 40 years of the charity. Challengers CEO, Laura Sercombe, commented on the recent news; “We are over the moon to have such a wonderful friend and supporter in Caroline. Her impact on the charity has already been huge and I am so very proud to see her as a Patron for us. Welcome to the orange family Caroline!”

Caroline had this to say about her new connection; “Challengers has been close to my heart for some considerable time as I admire what the organisation delivers in never excluding a child and also how much they have achieved in the last few years. I have done my best to support them during this time and am absolutely delighted to be asked to be a patron.”
