Bozwell The Big Red Dog supports Challengers

We are very excited to have a very special new supporter, a loveable Irish Setter called Bozwell! Local author Philip Etherton has published a story he wrote for his children about the adventures of their family pet and is very generously donating all royalties from the sale of his book to Challengers. Bozwell the Big Red Dog is a fun and heartwarming story that the whole family will enjoy and we are so pleased that this loveable Irish Setter has come bounding into Challengers!

Phil wrote the story of Bozwell some 30 years ago, when he travelled a lot with work. The story has since been passed through the generations of his family until recently when one of his grandchildren insisted that he had the book published.

On Wednesday 1st May Phil joined Guildford Pre-school for story time and the children enjoyed a very special reading of this special book. The children all enjoyed hearing about naughty Bozwell and his mischievous adventures and were even lucky enough to receive a copy of the book to take home to enjoy with their families.

Bozwell the Big Red Dog would make a great birthday present children of all ages – especially as every purchase of the book makes a contribution to Challengers and helps us continue to break down barriers to play for disabled children and young people.

Phil has very kindly gifted 80 copies of this fantastic book to Challengers, which are available to purchase on a first come first served basis for a suggested donation of £5.00 (+ P&P). To request your copy, please contact Cader on CaderMacPhail@disability-challengers.org or 01483 230 060.

Alternatively, Bozwell the Big Red Dog is available to purchase from Amazon.
