Wood Street Village Jazz Festival – Sunday 16th July 2017

Wood Street Village Jazz Festival

We’re delighted to announce after 2 consecutive years of fun, the Challengers Wood Street Jazz Festival will be returning on Sunday 16th July.

Taking place on the beautiful Wood Street Village Green, here you will find live jazz music from some of the best players the jazz scene has to offer. This year we will be joined by the Somethin’ Else Big Band, Jacqui Hicks from Shakatak and headlining the event will be a tribute to the blue note from world class trumpet player Byron Wallen and award-winning saxophonist Tony Kofi.

Alongside the performances in the marquee, there’ll be plenty of food and refreshments including a bar serving premium ales from the local HogsBack Brewery.

Whether you’re looking for a family day out, a jazz enthusiast, or simply a fan of vibrant live music, this serene and exciting summer’s day out will not disappoint.

Tickets for this year are available below and are only £12 for an adult and £28 for the family (family – 2 adults and up to three children under the age of 14).

Timings: 13:00pm – 17:00pm

This event is being sponsored by Rydes Hill School and Cedar Consulting.
