Corporate Partnerships

Partner with us!

One of the best ways for your company to support Challengers is to partner with us. Whether that means choosing us as your Charity of the Year, sponsoring one of our many fundraising events, or offering pro bono skills-based support, we can offer mutually beneficial charity partnership opportunities to suit your company’s individual needs.

Choosing to partner with Challengers can help you to attract new business, build links with your local community, increase staff morale, and help you to demonstrate your commitment to corporate social responsibility.

You can make a real difference to disabled children and their families, and be part of our mission to change perceptions of disability for a more inclusive society. Sound good? Get in touch today to discuss how we can work together.

Let’s work together!

77% of consumers are more likely to use companies that are committed to making the world a better place, proving that “business for good” really is good for business. Here are some examples of how we work with our corporate partners.

Charity of the Year Partnerships

Choosing Challengers as your company’s Charity of the Year is a great way to give employees a common goal and unite your team.

We can support all employee fundraising initiatives, so whether you choose Challengers as your charity of the year, or you have a group of employees who want to get involved, we’ll work closely with you to make sure your fundraising experience is a hit!

Join our Business Club

The Challengers Business Club is a dynamic group of local and national companies who are committed to supporting Challengers, while reaping the benefits to help grow their businesses.

Aside from supporting a much-loved local children’s charity which is a fantastic way to engage customers and staff with your charitable commitment, members also enjoy:

  • Exclusive quarterly events, often featuring guest speakers with insights into key business areas including business negotiation, public affairs and branding.
  • High-quality networking opportunities – all our members are decision makers and influencers within their own business.
  • Each company membership provides 50 hours of play for a disabled child or young person through their fees.

Business Club membership costs £1,000 per year (or £85 per month). For more information and to discuss membership, please contact our Fundraising team.

The Business Club attracts like-minded members of the local community with whom we can share ideas, experiences, and find opportunities to work together. It’s a networking organisation with heart and spirit.

Sponsor an event

Each year we hold a variety of exciting fundraising events across the South East which are available for sponsorship.

Talk to us about our upcoming events, and we can put together a sponsorship package which suits you and your company.

We can also provide sponsorship opportunities for Play and Youth schemes in your local area, helping you stand out in your community and make a tangible and lasting difference to local disabled children and their families.

Our Motoring Event attracts hundreds of people each year!

More ways to support

Riverford Organics hosted a cooking demo for Challengers

Payroll Giving

Payroll Giving is a simple way for you to make a regular donation to Challengers directly from your salary. Donating in this way is the most tax-effective way of giving to charity. Simply put, it means Challengers receives more at no extra cost to you!

As a company, it’s also an opportunity to gain recognition by achieving a Quality Mark Award. Payroll Giving is easy to set up and our Fundraising team is happy to help you with every step of the process.

Employee Volunteering

We have plenty of events throughout the year that need the support of volunteers, or there are also opportunities for employees to volunteer at our centres in Farnham or Guildford to help keep our centres safe and fun for children. Please get in touch with us to discuss upcoming volunteering opportunities for your team.

Gifts in Kind

Supporting Challengers with gifts in kind can be a simple but valuable way of working with us. In-kind support from companies could be in the form of raffle or auction prizes, as well as the donation of products or professional services that aid the operational side of the charity.

Corporate Foundations

Many businesses have their own corporate foundations, and some require employee support for applications. If your company has a foundation and you’d like Challengers to be considered for a grant, please let us know and we can help you make the most out of your application.
