Kelly's Cycle Challenge 2017

Thank you for choosing to take part in this year’s Kelly’s Cross Country Challenge! We hope that your training is going well and would like to wish you the best of luck for your upcoming challenge.

100% of the money you raise, including your registration fee, goes directly to Challengers. To help you with fundraising for Challengers, we have compiled some materials that you can share on any social media platforms that you are signed up to, as well as by email, to your friends, family, and work colleagues.

On the right-hand-side you can find our latest awareness film, More Than Just Play, as well as links to images that you can post alongside any statuses about your challenge on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter. Don’t forget to include a link to your fundraising page in your email or social media status!

What kind of social media statuses should I post?

There’s so many different ways to post about your fundraising challenge and encourage donations from your friends, family, and work colleagues! Here are just a few examples:

    • Training updates – Supporters always want to be updated on the journey that any fundraiser goes on in the build up to the big day, so post lots of photos/videos of any training runs/walks!
    • Blogging – If you want to go the extra mile with documenting your training, why not set up a blog on WordPress and share all your updates on social media?
    • Sharing Challengers stories and videos – Whether it’s through sharing our awareness film (see the right-hand side) or one of our family stories, this is an easy way to show the difference that donations make.

If you would like any further tips on how to fundraise for your challenge, email sophiecolwell@disability-challengers.org or call 01483 230 060.
